Change for 2010

Monday, December 28th, 2009

Change is the only constant thing that happens.  Yet, people resist change.   Change requires adaptation and flexibility.  Change is required for growth.  Look at mother nature.  She is constantly changing, high mountain peaks are being eroded by the rain, wind, snow and the rivers are changing the direction and moving and shaping the rocks, sand and plants growing along side them.  In many parts of the world we experience seasons, Winter and Summer, Spring and Autumn.   The plants grow , die, hibernate.  The animals change locations and hibernate.  The weather changes daily and people must adapt to the changes with clothing and what they will do that day.

Yet, when there is change in the family structure, or employment or health or location or friends or the economy, we somehow want it to remain the same.  It thankfully does not and most of us adapt and move forward with making the appropriate adjustments.  However, some do not.  They complain, get angry, sad, gossip, feel depressed, and think “why me, when will it (the changes) ever stop?”

Consider this and be grateful for change because it is important to the maturing and evolution of people, plants, animals and of course nature.  We are experiencing what we are able to handle, take lessons from the changes and then move forward with appropriate adaptation.  Be grateful for the change.

Sayings “Time heals”,  “give it time”, “next time will be better”, “in time it will change”  and many more sayings.  These all speak of change.

For 2010 and beyond I encourage you to accept change because they are the only constant.

When I look back on 2009 I have experienced  big changes to my life.  Some of them have been very purposeful and others have just happened.  I know that I am moving forward with gratitude and momentum to my life of financial freedom and complete freedom to choose.

I love my family and friends.   I tell that to them regularly.

Beliefs and Values

Tuesday, November 10th, 2009

First find your beliefs and next ask yourself this question for your values.  “What is important to you about believing this?”

There are sever main area’s of values.

  1. Relationship – Significant other or family
  2. Health and Fitness
  3. Career
  4. Personal growth and development
  5. Money
  6. Environment
  7. Spirituality

Their order is different for everyone and you may find you have different words.   Beliefs and values interact to create the personality traits that you have.  Attitudes are the collection of beliefs and values on certain subjects.  We have our highly valued values.  Beliefs are the convictions we trust to be true.

They are often unconscious.  They determine how we spend our time and with whom we spend it.  Determine the beliefs and values that you have by taking a look at the list above, the people you spend your time with and you will see your values and beliefs.

If you do not like that picture then create new intentions for your life.

For me it started with investment in my personal growth and development.  I invested in my skiing by becoming a CSIA certified instructor, then I took NLP Practitioner, and then NLP Master Practitioner and then many online courses about becoming a successful line marketer.

I have been enjoying the results of these investments because I have become clear on my beliefs and values and thus the people I have as friends  now in my life share the same values and beliefs.  The energy that comes from this is amazing.  The universe delivers.

Get clear on your beliefs and as yourself  “What is important to me about believing this?” Then you will find your values.   Then you decide what your priorities are.  If you do not like the order then decide to change the order by creating  your intention and choose the new order.

Believe it and See it.

Friday, November 6th, 2009

The  law of attraction is talked about and explored, written about and often debated.   As I am evolving in my life I am experiencing the law of attraction all around me.  Experiences and people are coming into my life from many different directions and I am sometimes surprised at the pace in which it is happening.

The thing that I seek out and value the most in life it TRUTH, Honesty, being Impeccable and giving without wanting.  I am seeing and experiencing the new and high energy friendships that are developed because this basic value is shared and honored.

I am grateful for the experiences that I have, even the ones that are less than easy.  I take lessons from each of them and apply my knowledge and wisdom to move quickly from the less than pleasant ones.  I observe that people who are stuck at a place in time are often looking for someone to blame.  They feel that somehow they are just victims.   Being stuck as a victim will only get your sympathy for a short while and then people have their own issues to handle and thus cannot support the victim mentality and give it their energy.

Yes, each experience is here to learn from.  I have walked through some difficult ones.  Everyone has them if they are living a life that interfaces with other people.

I know that when we choose to move through the experience quickly and honestly we are able to get to the fun and happy cheerful experiences.

I had a dream that I dreamed for several years.  I was very invested in that dream.  Then suddenly the people of that dream took a direction that took that dream and sent it into the trash bin.  After the initial shock, then anger and sadness I realized I had to start to dream again.  Dream a new dream and be aware that the dream had to be updated and kept current, keep it moving along as life is moving along.

Connecting the dots with lines to draw new pictures, a new dream that is going to take me to abundance and more control because my knowledge and education is constant.

The law of attraction and the universe is delivering daily. Taking risks with the dream and putting my energy into it.  Giving it my intention and love.

Believing it and seeing it.    The possibilities are limitless.  Keeping the movement and taking action.

I am happy and cheerful, I always see the possibilities and am dreaming many dreams and loving each experience.
